Dear Academics, Artists, Designers and Researchers,
The International Symposium on Art and Design is a major scientific and artistic gathering that supports academic and artistic work developed in line with interdisciplinary approaches in the fields of art and design, and aims to strengthen knowledge production, creative thinking and international academic collaboration.
Organised in line with this approach, the 6th International Art and Design Symposium aims to bring together academics, artists, designers, researchers and postgraduate students from various countries on an online scientific and artistic platform. The event aims to contribute not only to the sharing of current research but also to the discussion of innovative approaches in the fields of art and design, the development of interdisciplinary interaction, and the strengthening of international academic communication.
Original research will be presented as oral and poster presentations during the scientific sessions to be held as part of the symposium. The oral presentation sessions will take place online via Google Meet; poster presentations and artistic works, meanwhile, will be made available to participants and the art community in a digital format.
The works featured in the international virtual exhibition to be held as part of the event will be presented to the public via a specially created virtual gallery. The exhibited works will also be published in a digital catalogue, thereby creating a permanent academic and artistic archive. This will enable participants to access the symposium’s scientific and artistic content without any physical or geographical constraints.
This international event, which brings together scientific exchange and artistic production under a single digital umbrella, aims to foster sustainable collaborations between researchers, academics and artists from different disciplines, to enhance the exchange of knowledge and experience, to support creative thinking, and to strengthen intercultural interaction through the universal language of art.

- The symposium meets the criteria for applications for the position of associate professor.
- The languages of presentation at the symposium are Turkish and English.
- The abstract and full-text proceedings will be published on our website with an ISBN.
- Full-text papers will be subjected to a peer-review process at the request of the author(s), and those deemed suitable following the review ARTFACTOR Journal… may be published as an article.
- Participants may take part in online solo and online mixed exhibitions.
- A digital exhibition catalogue will be produced for online solo and online mixed exhibitions.
